What ointment can be used on new tattoo?
If you should use any
solution you must first adhere to the instruction of the tattoo artist he will
defiantly follow you up making sure that the wound cause by the tats design is
healed. For most of the tattoo artist you do not need to worry about getting an
ointment to apply on the wound they know best how to care for it.
But should in case you really want to care for it by
yourself or you where the one that tattoo yourself, you can carry out a simple
cleaning process by just washing it with water and soap and gently dry the
surface then apply lotion this will work well, this should be done once in a
day. Do not forget that the wound needs air for it to heal hence it does not
need much of lotion or ointment.
Here are other very effect ointments you can use on a newtattoo
Note you only make use of them if you are told by the artist
to do so.
- Bacitracin: this is an anti bacterial lotion, you should use it for one or two days after you had the new tattoo, this will help in riding off any germs or bacterial infection that might want to infect the new wound. After that you can make use of Aquaphor, as this has the ability of healing and repairing the skin without altering the tattoo. It should be use twice in a day after bath and at bed time at night.
2. Neosporin: do not use Neosporin though it
helps in healing tattoo very fast but it
will push the tatts art off your skin thus n making it look unattractive
instead use
A&D ointment.
